The Society meets on the last Wednesday of each month with the exception of December when it falls on a Wednesday earlier in the month

The Society was originally formed in February 1982 by a group of enthusiasts who started to meet in each other's homes and membership grew rapidly.

It moved to its current venue in November 2000 and currently has a membership of 80

As the name suggests, it is situated in the North of England on the North side of the River Tyne in a suburb of Newcastle.

A warm and friendly welcome awaits all those who attend our functions

The club usually meets on the last Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm

Members admission: £6.00

Visitors admission: £6.50
