About Harrogate Organ & Keyboard Club

Whilst we hear that there are some clubs around the country closing down, we at Harrogate are holding our own, thanks largely to the support from our members - long may it continue.

The year 2006 is our fourteenth at St. George's and most of the artistes who have played for us recognise us as a "lively bunch" at a super venue, and they are always keen to come back.

We are unusual in that, in addition to a monthly concert by a professional, we have a weekly meeting where we have an exchange of views, and members play the Society's organ. At present this is a Yamaha EL70.

The Club recently celebrated its 30th Year at The Millstones Restaurant with music supplied by Jon Smith

Our concerts, which are held at the recently refurbished St George's Social Club, HG2 9ER (formerly known as the M.O.D. Club) provide great entertainment with music for all tastes. Everyone is welcome, and for only £4.00 it is a fantastic night of entertainment.

The club usually meets on the last Thursday of the month at 8pm
