Stilton Charity Concerts
All concerts take place on a Sunday afternoon commencing at 2.30pm (doors open 1.45pm). The current admission price as and from March 2019 is £10.00 which includes interval refreshments (tea, coffee, cold drinks, cakes and/or biscuits) and is payable at the door.
Any proceeds from the concerts will aid local charities or good causes although, for this year, it will be going to help with running of this new centre and to purchase items such as curtaining for the main hall. Now done (Jan ‘19) but, with the rise in the hall hire charges, any money left over will go to local charities.
Currently run under the "Your Kind of Music" banner in conjunction with Elizabeth Harrison but headed by me at this venue, Tony Oliver tel: 01480 474282. Additional phone number is 07918 602600. Email - email@example.com
This is a new venture having just started in April 2017 and your support would be most appreciated to help us keep the music going! For further details please give me a call. With audiences increasing in numbers during 2018, with many new to the scene, it was decided to produce an outstanding programme of events for 2019 with some of the best players available. One special artiste is no less than Claudia Hirschfeld who will be appearing on Sunday 5th May and we are delighted she included Stilton in her UK tour. See her at Swineshead with panpipe player David Doering on Sunday 28th April, the week before Stilton’s second chance when she will play a different selection of music. Both concerts in aid of charity (mine to be announced but most probably Magpas Air Ambulance).
