The Club, first known as the Avon Electronic Organ Club, held their inaugural meeting in January 1984.
In February the first Newsletter was distributed giving details of concerts to be held at the Rachel Fowler Centre, the first being in March. By October, membership totalled 56 - concert fees were £1 for members and £1.50 for guests.
In May 1987 the Club changed their name to the Melksham Electronic Organ Club and in 1988 a few concerts were held at an alternative venue, the Melksham Assembly Hall, which later became, and still is, our permanent venue.
Today we average a yearly membership of 200.
We have a very strong committee that meets every month prior to our concert and is in most cases fully attended.

And for June we have the fabulous Tony Stace, this is a person that has his own way of entertaining , must be seen to be believed but be sure you will enjoy every minute.
