Bad Start... Excellent Outcome!The Weyhill Electronic Organ Society, near Andover, further enhanced its fine reputation within the local community by dedicating the November concert to the 'Help for Heroes' charity.
The event was delayed by 15 minutes as a fatal accident a mile from the venue had caused road closures and traffic congestion. Once started, the concert - admirably performed by Dave Smith and aided by suitable films - proved to be doubly appropriate in view of its proximity to Remembrance Sunday. Big BrotherFans of Jean Martyn can tune into Channel 5's Big brother show tonight (Friday 11th November) and again see her playing on TV. This evenings show is the last in the series and the last remaining contestants will be ushered from the Big Brother House to the studio to be interviewed. It is here Jean will be performing live at about 11.00 PM.
Regulars to the show will know this is not the first time Jean has been on it and this performance is the latest in what has been a very busy 2011.

Organists Running Organ Clubs!!!Tony Stace is the latest in the line to commence the running of his very own organ club!
Entitled 'Music For Northallerton', Tony along with his wife Louise will run their first concert on Sunday 6th November starting at 2.30pm with none other than Tony himself! They have found a delightful venue at the Catholic Church Hall in Northallerton (North Yorkshire) and entrance is £6 and includes tea and cakes. They plan to hold a charity raffle every month for local causes, the first one for the Ben Hyde Memorial Trust.

Bourne Organ Club have a change of artiste for their forthcoming concert on Wednesday 16th November when Paul Carman should have been appearing. The artiste will now be David Thomas.
