Great news for Burntwood

Wednesday 15th June

“Burntwood Music for All” will relaunch on Thursday 16th June 2022 with a vibrant “Jubilee Proms” theme, performed by Chris Powell, and continue with an exciting line-up of artistes each month thereafter. This will be very welcome news for many musicians and audiences, following covid lockdowns and the closure of various other regular organ and keyboard events across the UK.

Positive steps for Lincoln!

Wednesday 15th June

Great news for Lincoln! Delighted to announce that whilst the Lincoln Electronic Organ Society has now closed, concerts will continue but with a new management team consisting of Chris Powell, Matthew Bason, Joanne Powell, Steve Barrett -White and Peter Lofthouse. 

They have a new venue with ample free parking, easy to find, a licensed bar whilst coffee/tea will be available. Change Of Venue

Wednesday 15th June

Due to circumstances beyond their control, Weston Organ and Keyboard Club will no longer hold their monthly Concerts at Weston Association Football Club.  

As from 7th July 2022 all future Concerts will be held on the first Thursday of each month, commencing with Jon Smith, at our new venue Bleadon Coronation Hall,  Bleadon  Weston super Mare BS24 0PG.

The stunning saxophonist 'Jo Fooks' and Rod Pooley's authentic Hammond Organ groove band 'The Drawtones' join forces to pay tribute to the saxophone and Hammond Organ greats in jazz, funk and soul at The Pheasantry (Chelsea) on June 29th.

This will be an amazing night for any jazz lover. Tickets are £15 and more information can be found here.

Norman Burdon

Sunday 10th April

Norman Burdon, Chairman of the Harrogate Keyboard Club has sadly passed away, he was 85. Norman and his family attended the club (formerly the Harrogate Electronic Organ Society) for approaching 40 years, and he has greatly enjoyed arranging the monthly concerts for the last 30 years. Norman loved music of all kinds, and was very well known to, and liked by all of the artists on the circuit.

He loved putting together the annual programme of music, and running the events alongside his wife Sheila, members of the committee and many friends.

Roland Ebbetts

Saturday 19th March

We were very saddened to hear news of the passing of Roland. Many will have known him for his long involvement at the New Forest Organ Society. He passed away last Sunday, the day after his 97th birthday. 

Our love and thoughts go out to his lovely wife Sandra and family and friends.
