It is with much sadness that we report that the Sheppey Organ Club Chairman, Margo Bronger-May passed away on the 9th April 2020 after a long battle with cancer. Many of the artistes who have appeared regularly at the club will have known Margo well and will be saddened by her passing.
Margo steered the club through the period when their long serving Chairman Colin Friend had to stand down for health reasons. She will be very much missed. Our condolences go out to her family and friends.
It is with regret that we have to announce the closure of BADEOS. The society was formed in 1973 and after almost 47 years the final concert was held in December 2019. Whilst this is a very sad statement after all those years of a wonderful club... all is not lost! We have been informed that a live concert by Dutch organist, Gert Van Hoef will be streamed tonight at 7pm through his YouTube channel.
Gert plays many tracker organs and I believe the concert will feature similar.

With self isolation due to COVID-19 and being advised against non essential gatherings this does not mean we have to all sit at home bored!
As of now you can book a Skype or FaceTime video call with Rod Pooley for tuition and Yamaha product knowledge sessions.. Maybe a chance to embrace and further our skills at this testing time and make some positives. What a great idea!
