Like many venues, the Astoria Centre at Barnsley is currently unable to open to present its regular series of dances and concerts. In response to this, the Penistone Cinema Organ Trust has recorded a special series of episodes called “At The Astoria”. The first of these is now available to watch online via YouTube and features none other than Blackpool’s ‘Maestro of Music’ - Phil Kelsall MBE at the console of the magnificent Compton organ.
We have just heard about this newly released book outlining the history of the Wurlitzer theatre organ at the Musical Museum at Kew Bridge. I'm sure this will be of great interest to many of you. For more details, visit their OrganFax page .

It is with much sadness that we report that the Sheppey Organ Club Chairman, Margo Bronger-May passed away on the 9th April 2020 after a long battle with cancer. Many of the artistes who have appeared regularly at the club will have known Margo well and will be saddened by her passing.
Margo steered the club through the period when their long serving Chairman Colin Friend had to stand down for health reasons. She will be very much missed. Our condolences go out to her family and friends.
It is with regret that we have to announce the closure of BADEOS. The society was formed in 1973 and after almost 47 years the final concert was held in December 2019. Whilst this is a very sad statement after all those years of a wonderful club... all is not lost! Popular entertainer Elizabeth Harrison has set up “Music at Hilltops” in Blackrod so we hope that many of you in the area will support her with that.
<... Read more.We have been informed that a live concert by Dutch organist, Gert Van Hoef will be streamed tonight at 7pm through his YouTube channel.
Gert plays many tracker organs and I believe the concert will feature similar.
