Sad news from Ian Griffin

Friday 20th July

Ian Griffin has been in touch with us to inform us that his mother, Sylvia very sadly passed away last week following a long illness.  Many organ and keyboard fans will remember her warm welcome helping dad Cled with the running of Barton Hall and similar events in the hey day of organ festivals - these being introduced to us all by them both.  All of us at OrganFax send Ian, Donna and Cled our sincerest wishes and deepest sympathy at this sad time.

Change of date for ILKLEY event.

Due to circumstances beyond their control, TOPNOTE EVENTS have changed the dates for their new ILKLEY event. Now starting on Wednesday October 3rd and departing Saturday October 6th 2018, Tony Stace & Andrew Nix will be joined by John Bowdler, Mark Thompson, Steve Hubble, Elizabeth Harrison, David Harrild and Musicland. The Victorian Craiglands Hotel (Best Western Plus) remains the venue for a superb line up of concerts and some dancing.

As a result of this change, some Twin and Double rooms have become available.

Horsham MelodyTimes Opens with Great Success

Tuesday 26th June

The new Horsham MelodyTimes music for all series of live concerts enjoyed a very successful opening night, with an enthusiastic audience enjoying hearing the music of Glenn Miller, Liberace, Andre Rieu and more played by organists Michael Wooldridge and Chris Stanbury, who together are the founders of the musical evenings.  Chris said how pleased he was that there was now somewhere in the area where people could come together to enjoy our kind of music in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Exciting plans for Exeter!

Monday 4th June

The future of the Exeter Electronic Organ Club has been in question for some time now, however, we were delighted to learn that new plans for concerts in the area are in the pipeline!

The group are now running these concerts under the new name of 'Phoenix Music Club' and plan to hold bi-monthly concerts at various locations around the Exeter area encompassing all different manner of musicians to provide a varied programme.

New - Horsham MelodyTimes Concerts

Following the demise of the very popular Horsham Organ Society at the start of this year, organists Michael Wooldridge and Chris Stanbury thought it was such a shame that keyboard enthusiasts would no longer be able to enjoy our kind of music in the area that they decided to team up to create Horsham MelodyTimes Concerts.
