Horsham Organ Society closing statement

Thursday 23rd November

Horsham Organ Society was formed in 1978 by Ian Wollen and Mike Randon and it is with regret that we now have to confirm that the Society (now called Horsham Organ/Keyboard Society) is to close down in January 2018 – exactly 40 years on.

Like many other clubs our numbers have dwindled over the last few years and we now find that with no youngsters to help, the Committee has reluctantly decided we must close.

Monday 6th November

I have the busiest year ever ahead in 2018 since I turned pro way back in 1984. 35 Organ/ Clubs/ Festival appearances plus many more than that number performing with my very successful Hammond Organ band "The Drawtones".

I just wanted to make everybody in the Organ and Keyboard world aware that I am very much on the circuit and despite rumours have never ever totally given up the circuit.

What is true due to travelling difficulties in the past, I only accepted bookings then as far North as Birmingham and as far West as Bournemouth. Also I did once consider giving up the circ... Read more.

Cancelled concert

Monday 4th September

Due to unforseen curcumstances, Banstead Organ & Keyboard Club have had to cancel their next concert on September 11th, therefore, their next show will be on October 9th with Richard Monks.

Change of Artiste - Derby Organ & Keyboard Club

Saturday 19th August

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Andrew Nix will not be appearing at the Derby Organ & Keyboard Club as advertised on Monday 21st August. Chris Powell has kindly agreed to perform in his place with Andrew playing his concert on Monday September 25th.

Concert cancellation

Monday 14th August

Due to unforseen circumstances, the forthcoming concert at Rye College on Sunday 20th August has had to be cancelled due to essential building repair works within the school.
