Jean is now known worldwide following her streaming sessions where she played for 18 months every night during the pandemic. She is an accomplished international artist with two degrees for music for classical and jazz. A pupil of the late Johnny Dankworth, she uses tremendous harmonies when playing jazz classics and her interpretation of Oscar Peterson and improvisation of Keith Jarrett is amazing.
She is at home in front of any type of keyboard whether it be any electronic organ, theatre organ, classical organ , or piano. She has an array of instruments at her fingertips including a B3 Hammond, a Hammond D WITH AN125 LESLIE , 2 EL900s, and an ELX 1. She has a B211 Steinway grand piano and two stage pianos, a Korg PA5X keyboard and a kronos piano and two synthesizers and her recent addition a BOHM SEMPRA 60.
She has played at many prestigious venues, Royal households, and all major arenas in the UK, Scotland and Wales, following her success in 2011 on Britains' Got Talent. She is proud to have played on many occasions the famous Wurlitzer organ in Blackpool Tower and the only lady to record a CD on it, which went worldwide. She often gets called upon for private events, the most recent where she helped raise £120,000 for two hospices in Blackpool. She was a semi finalist in Hollands Got Talent in 2023 and recently with Bradley Walsh on Blankety Blank.
She has performed in seven states of America on Roland, Hammond, and Yamaha organs. She was invited to perform in Martinsburg West Virginia for Senator J Rockefeller. She played for two silent movies in the Film Museum in Potsdam Berlin , and the Welte organ in the BBC Hamburg and the Welte organ in the Museum in Speyer. She is no stranger to the Netherlands, having performed on Dutch theatre organs and for the electronic society for over 20 years. She also played for the Hammond Club in the Netherlands. One visit changed her life, when she met her husband Hans at a concert. The following year during the pandemic she streamed music from the Netherlands for 2 years then returned to the UK to perform in her very own hotel. The hotel was sold in 2023 and now Jean spends half the year in the Netherlands and half in England so if you want to see her, or book a concert she will be pleased to come and play for you from March to June or October to December.
Her love of performing music is still close to her heart, and now with Hans to do the driving etc the hotel is sold and she is back on the road again. You can find her concert dates on here. Or, you can see her numerous videos on YOUTUBE,FACEBOOK TIKTOK and INSTAGRAM and join the followers worldwide who enjoy her "live" sessions on Facebook .
To sum her up, Jean is an internationally acclaimed artist and a wonderful entertainer, who never fails to deliver the goods in a professional way.
