Ey Up! he's back!

Michael was born in Barnsley South Yorkshire and he may be familiar to many as he toured the organ and keybaord concert curcuit for many years. Michael was known for his wide ranging musical repetiore,to also include his own music compostions, arrangements also for his dry sense of Yorkshire humour.

Since this time, Michael has worked in tthe education sector as Teacher, Manager and has continued to play for a few charities over the past few years and supported his friend through charithy concernts to help raise money for rchurch enovation work.  

It is clear wwhen you see Michael in concert that he has a true passion for music and this is reflected in his sturring and dynamic musical arrangements covering a wide range of musical genres such as: popular standards, swing, big band, light classical, film scores, musicals, dixieland jazz, ballads, soul, motown and rock. 

Michael worked as a professional musician for many years as keyboard and organ demonstrator, solo concert performer and appeared on local radio. Michael  also had his own compositions published in the Yamaha Club Magazine and worked as Muical Director and worked alongsie well known artistes such as: Ken Dodd, The 3 Degrees, Gene Pitney, Billy Pearce,, Renee and Renato, 

Michael still has a true passion and hunger for performing and is looking to return to the music society curcuit for a limited number of concerts during 2025 and 2026. 

Michael is now playing the latest Kurzwiel SP7 stage piano, Yamaha Genos, along with bass pedals and a top quality PA system. 

Michael is looking forward to meeting old friends and making new friends over the next few years.
