After more than 46 years, Wycombe Organ Club will be holding it’s final meeting on Thursday 12th December.
Founded back in 1967, the club has held monthly concerts featuring the best players form the organ and keyboard world. The final concert will feature Chris Stanbury and Michael Wooldridge, who performed one of his very first concerts at the club more than 30 years ago. The present committee would like to thank all the members for their continued support over the years and Greg Phillips the current chairman would also like to thank committee members past and present for their hard work with the running of the club.
The committee and members have agreed that all remaining funds will be donated to the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust. Full details of the final December concert can be found on our Organfax directory page. Please join them for what is sure to be a great evening.
OrganFax comment "It is such a shame that we should lose yet another long standing club". This is something of an understatement! Air your thoughts on losing such a valuable club on our Forum Pages.
