New Regional Store For Bristol!

Mark Ireland is opening his new regional digital piano and keyboard store for Bristol and the surrounding area!

Great news for piano and keyboard customers in the South West- Mark Ireland who is no stranger to the world of retail and digital instruments, as well as the concert circuit, has launched Mark Ireland Pianos in Bristol. The shop is located on the east side of Bristol just off the busy A4 Bath road. Mark aims to provide a comprehensive selection of the best digital pianos from major brands and currently stocks Casio,
Kawai, Roland and Yamaha.

This new centre for digital pianos has been created, and is run, entirely by Mark who has spent much of the summer decorating and modifying the building with new lighting and signage creating a really pleasant atmosphere in which to choose your new instrument.

There are some top of the range instruments on display including the Roland Hpi7F tutorial interactive piano and the Clavinova CVP605 from Yamaha. Kawai pianos include the CA65 and CA95! The keyboard players among readers here will be pleased to know that Mark is also an authorised dealer for Yamaha Tyros and PSR series keyboards and welcomes enquiries for this type of instrument now. The diversity of products will increase as the demand and business allows.

Support from the suppliers has been tremendous, helped by the previous relationships built during the seven years that Mark was with Swift Music, one of the largest organ and keyboard centres in the country. Many people in the organ and keyboard world will know that Nick Swift, Margaret (Mag’s) husband and co-founder of Swift Music in Bristol, tragically died in September 2012 at the early age of 57. Having continued with the shop until the end of May 2013 Mag closed it down after nearly thirteen years trading in order to spend more time with her family. Readers may like to know that there are a few remaining items of stock available through the website at

A new start now ensures that a local supply of instruments can still be found in the Bristol area at Mark’s new shop. The full website is being produced at the moment and will have the url as Contact with Mark can be made at 0117 9717116, 07906 431918 or by email to

The shop address is Mark Ireland Pianos, 10 West Town Lane, Brislington, Bristol, BS4 5BN which can easily be reached from the A4174 ring road, the A4, A38 and A37 roads.

Opening hours are from 10-5 Tuesday to Saturday, closed Sunday and Monday.
