New Festival For Southport

"FINE TUNE EVENTS" - Present their SOUTHPORT Organ & Keyboard Festival

Two of the U.K. organ/keyboard world's busiest players Elizabeth Harrison & Nicholas Martin have joined forces to present their very first music festival in the coastal resort of Southport, Merseyside. Their first weekend event will take place at the three-star Royal Clifton Hotel & Spa - which is situated on the Southport Promenade - just down from the historic pier. The hotel is a superb 120 room venue with numerous function rooms and impressive spa and leisure facilities.

The event takes place on the weekend of March 8-11th (2013) and Liz and Nick have already lined up a superb roster of keyboard stars and dealers for your pleasure. These include Tony Stace, Brett Wales, Tim Flint, Paul Carman, Ian Griffin and Ben Scott-Hyde. The event will feature concerts, dancing, demonstrations, guests entertain sessions, teaching seminars, meet the 'stars' - there simply won't be a minute to get your breath!

This is Elizabeth's first festival venture whereas Nicholas has co-organised three successful events in Blackpool with Tim Butterworth (2010-12). Tim, and his wife Sam, decided to move and relocate in Majorca earlier this year, so this allowed Nick to ask Elizabeth if she would be interested in joining him for future events.

Liz & Nick's festivals are appropriately named - 'FINE TUNE EVENTS'. They have plans to do a second event later in the autumn of 2013. For further details of the Southport event, and to download a booking form, you can check their website.

You will find this and other 2012 & 2013 music festivals listed in our OrganFax Directory.
