We have received a note from Terry Trevett of the Weyhill Organ Society who has asked if any of our OrganFax viewers may be able to help him with his quest for more informtaion. He writes...
"I have recently found amongst my mother's effects a small box which she believes could be aged between 80-100 years.
Her Father and Grandfather both spent time in India. However, as her father was a musician (violinist), it seems probable that he had perhaps purchased a small item (e.g. a new string) which was supplied in the box.
I wonder if any OrganFax visitors might have some thoughts on this mystery or the company involved ....."
The box in question is pictured to the right. Anybody that may know anything at all and help to solve this puzzle can email us direct and we will forward on your message to Terry.
