Following a recent concert by Glyn Madden in conjunction with the South Yorkshire Keyboard and Organ Club over £680 was raised for the Japan disaster fund. With a fabulous donation of £100 from NEDOS (the North East Derbyshire Organ Society) and a couple of cheques from individuals received the following morning, their little fund raiser is now standing at £840.
In the coming week Glyn will be rattling buckets (and piano keys) at his local Sainsbury's and hoping they'll top the £1k mark for Rotary's Shelterbox appeal.
Well done guys!
