Sainsbury's Andover Superstore was host to a recent fund-raising event when Elizabeth Harrison performed tirelessly throughout the day to entertain the shoppers. At the same time, a collection was made on behalf of Enham - a local charity dedicated to transforming the lives of disabled people with learning programmes and care options.
Elizabeth, who was sponsored by Weyhill Electronic Organ Society, played a varied selection of bright music and the sum of £252 was collected for the Charity. The event was supported by the Mayor and Mayoress of Test Valley who entered into the spirit of the occasion and clearly enjoyed the entertainment. Meanwhile, representatives of the Weyhill club were involved in a little promotional work and a few more people from the area are now aware of the kind of music they have been missing!
Grateful thanks are due to the the Manager and staff of Sainsbury’s for their kind co-operation and hospitality.
