Friends Of Rye Wurlitzer are delighted to remind you that the next festivity of theatre organ entertainment is Sunday 23rd May at Rye College.
They have a real treat, their artiste for the afternoon will be Phil Kelsall resident organist at the Tower Ballroom Blackpool for the past 30 odd years.
Phil performs at Rye every two years, and, on a personal note as well as giving him a warm welcome they are very excited about this visit. Since he played last they have had a lot done to the organ both in appearance and performance progress. With a player of Phil's calibre a fine afternoon of music to suit all tastes is most certainly guaranteed.
They have parties from Ashford and Chatham coming as well as their usual loyal band of supporters. There is always room for more and if you don't get a comfy blue chair they do have green cushions for the rest of the chairs to prevent numb bums!
Doors open at 1.30pm and the concert starts at 2.30pm.
With a fine cup of tea or coffee and art deco biscuit displays all included in the price of £7.00 where else is there to go on Sunday May 23rd.

The whole team look forward to welcoming you all once again. Or if you haven't been before in the past 20 years - make some time for this special concert.
