The famous Lyme Bay Keyboard Experience has moved to Sand Bay, near Weston-super-Mare, because Tesco bought the Seaton, Devon site earlier this year.
The tariff for the Sand Bay Organ-Keyboard Festival is a special offer for the new venue at £129 Full Board and must surely be the bargain of 2009 - a price never to be repeated again.
Already bookings are past the number who attended Lyme Bay last year, but as the Sand Bay Leisure Resort is a larger venue more spaces are available. Also, it must be said that there is no single room supplement for those who want to come alone to meet friends with the same interests.
The star player line up includes: Jean Martyn, Chris Powell. Chris Stanbury, Paul Carman, Mike Hall, Tim Flint, Elizabeth Harrison, Matthew Bason, Martin Smith, Colin Ford, John Willcocks and the Keyklix Klan with Ian Griffin, Richard Bower and Andy Oakley. There will also be some surprise guest players. Included in the programme is a cardcraft session for the ladies.
A special feature will show how to convert Yamaha Tyros keyboards into an electronic organ.
The event is produced by Cled Griffin who introduced electronic organ festivals to the UK in 1980. Sand Bay won the Group Travel Awards for 2009 and are proud of their special event holidays. The booking hotline No. is 0845 8800211 or 0845 4504596 (both local rates).
