Blackpool Organist to make Scarborough Rock

Blackpool Tower's world-famous organist Phil Kelsall is to make his first appearance at the two Wurlitzer organs installed at the "Scarborough Fair Collection" on Saturday 16th May.
Although having played and recorded one of the venue's Wurlitzer Organs in its previous home, it will be the first time Phil has played the instrument in its new location. An added bonus is that Phil will be featuring the ex Granada, Mansfield 3/8 Wurlitzer, which is also installed at the complex, located just off the main coastal road between Scarborough and Filey. TWO Wurlitzer Organs for the price of one !!

There are two special events planned to mark Phil's first visit to the collection, which opened last year. Phil will be presenting his ever popular mix of concert pieces, toe-tappers and "seaside favourites" which includes something for everyone at 2.30pm (doors open at 1.00pm) Tickets £8.00 or £7.00 if booked in advance.

In the evening at 7.30pm (doors open at 7.00pm), Phil will be playing for Ballroom Dancing on the Wurlitzer Organs with a "Come Dancing" supper dance. The evening will include popular Ballroom & Sequence dances. Tickets are priced £13.00, which includes a 2 course supper.  Don't worry if you don't dance, as Phil will be playing some great music which is just as enjoyable to sit and listen to.

Admission to the collection of Steam Showman's Engines and Mechanical Organs is included and also take a complimentary ride on the vintage "Golden Galloping Horses".

Free car parking is available, so make a whole day of Wurlitzer Magic, performed by the modern-day Mr Blackpool.

All tickets can be booked by telephoning 01723 586698 and payment can be made using all major credit/debit cards.
