Blackpool Tower Organist - Phil Kelsall will be making a special weekend visit to The Astoria Centre, Barnsley over the weekend of the 8th/9th September, to perform two special events.
On the evening of Saturday 8th September at 7.30pm, Phil will be re-creating one of the Famous 'Blackpool Tower Dance Nights', which sadly now don't take place at the Tower Ballroom like they used to. The Astoria Centre's 3/17 Compton Organ can sound remarkably like its more famous counterpart at Blackpool, so Phil will certainly produce some of those great sounds we all know and love. There will be a licensed bar and a range of hot and cold snacks and refreshments available all throughout the evening. Due to limited seating availability, advanced booking is strongly recommended for this event by telephoning 07944 566972.
On Sunday 9th September at 2.30pm, Phil will be once again back at the Console but in a very different mode to the previous evening. Don't miss one of the rare opportunities to hear Phil Kelsall live in concert. Phil will include lots of Blackpool favourites, plus many more, as he puts the Astoria Centre Compton through its paces. Once again, there is a licensed bar and a wide range of delicious snacks, cakes and other refreshments available from the snack bar, which opens an hour before the start of the concert. Tickets for this events are available in advance by telephoning 07944 566972 or on the door from 1.45pm on the day.
