Introducing OrgelRadio

Orgelradio.eu

Orgelradio.eu has now been in existence for 9 months, 24/7 and is completely free giving its listeners the chance to listen to classical organ music with amazing results. Since 4th January this year 72,203 people from 137 countries have listened to 85,092 hours of music on the site. Their goal is to reach 100,000 listeners in one year and they are now getting really close to it!      

The top 10 countries with the most listeners are situated in Europe and in America:

6. Great Britain
7. Canada
8. Sweden
9. Switzerland
10. Czech Republic

A few of the other countries with listeners include the Virgin Islands U.S, Suriname, Nepal, Namibia, Mauritius, Jamaica, French Polynesia, Venezuela, Côte d'Ivoire and Aruba.

Thanks to the many CD's from organists, organ lovers and organ builders alike who have donated disks to Orgelradio the library now contains 1,828 discs. The complete CD library listing is available online. At Orgelradio.eu you can even pick your own favourite music and mail it to them and every Saturday they choose from this list deciding what they broadcast during the following week. You even get a notice when your favourite one is on. Just brilliant!

Weekly schedule Every day they broadcast 12 CDs every 8 hours so they can cover every timezone in the world. Every day has its own theme.

On the website they show information from each CD cover, they mention the artist and the organ (location & organbuilder) and a "buy-link" so you can order the cd and enjoy it even more at home.
