Brian Sharp’s passing was met with much sadness by his devotees, fellow musicians, and friends but none more so than his family.
Many readers may not be aware that a DVD was made at The Meeting House, Ringwood. It was here that Brian played concerts regularly from 1986. He supported the unique historical building over many years, playing to capacity audiences with his appreciation of fine acoustics.
Having been successful in retaining the pipe organ which Brian Sharp would often play, a DVD was made by Brian Embley for his personal archives. Brian Sharp then gave his consent for the DVD to be sold so that all profits could be donated to The Deanesly Centre in New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton where he was to receive treatment.
The DVD has twenty-two tracks and shows Brian at ease in surroundings giving a superlative concert. It is a real gem to enjoy and captures his array of keyboards.
This fabulous DVD ‘Brian Sharp Live In Concert' has been made available again and Brian’s wishes will be maintained by all profits from sales being donated to The Deansley Centre in his memory.
