Talented young organist David Gray makes a welcome return to the Assembly Hall, Worthing this Sunday 21st June 2015 starting at 2.30pm.
David has just finished a Masters Degree in Performance Studies at the Royal Academy of Music. He is trained as a concert pianist but relaxes by playing light music on the Theatre Organ and is a remarkably accomplished player for his age. He has given concerts at major organ venues in the UK, the USA and Australia.
Regular concert goers may have seen his spectacular concert last summer when he took time away from the Wurlitzer console to play pieces by Alkan on the Steinway Grand. This weekend he will again be playing the mighty Wurlitzer but he has promised to play a couple of pieces from his piano repertoire by Ravel, Schubert or Kenneth Leighton. This is an artist on the ascendant – don’t miss him!
