Roland had be noticeable in the mid to high end keyboard market only by their absense in recent years. However the BK-9, announced today, represents a step back towards the home keyboard market.
Described as the flagship of their "BK" keyboard range (including the BK-3 and BK-5), the BK-9 is an exciting step for the company to make. Early indications suggest the price of this new keyboard will be around £1699.

As many of our readers are probably aware, German organ star, Claudia Hirshfeld is conducting a tour of the UK commencing in mid April. What you may not be aware of is that it is concluding at the Princes Hall in Aldershot, Hants where she will have, as a special guest, her friend, Horea Crishan who is a virtuoso of the Pan Pipes. This is also Horea's debut in the UK.
The concert is a 'benefit' concert in support of the local hospice, The Phyllis Tuckwell, and will commence at 7.30 pm on Saturday 11th May and end about 10.00/30 that evening.
