A special concert is being held to mark the Odeon Leicester Square's 75th Anniversary and the 21st for Donald Mackenzie as the Resident Organist.
Taking place on August 3rd @ 10.30am, it will feature a restored silent comedy film starring Harrold lloyd in 'Safety Last' accompanied by Donald on the resident Compton organ. Also to be featured is live music from jazz band The Hendo Washboard Kings.

"In September 2003, supported by generous donations and encouragement, we put on a concert at the Market Overton Village Hall in Rutland, our artiste was Tony Stace. We chose a Sunday afternoon as we anticipated that most of our audience members would be of a mature age and may not wish to go out in the evening. Because two local clubs had already closed we were looking at possibly no longer than a six-months survival but, thanks to the support of our members and guests, we have been able to put on monthly top-class entertainment on Sunday afternoons ever since.... The Association of Organ Enthusiasts is holding its Summer Break, at the Mercure Kidderminster Hotel, Habberley Road, Kidderminster, in the heart of rural Worcestershire, commencing on Monday 1st July. The residential event, our twenty-second at this venue, which runs for five days, is primarily a get-together for members, but there is ample capacity for day visitors, members or non-members, at a cost of just £5 per day which includes all sessions.
