The recent summer festival organised by Tony Stace & Andrew Nix at Mill Rythe Holiday Park, Hayling Island was, once again a massive success. Topnote Events certainly pleased their many guests with their production skills and, of course, a superb line up of top organ and keyboard stars.

Members of West Surrey Organ and Keyboard Club may wish to note that Joan Field their last Chairlady sadly passed away on 10th July 2013, after a long spell in hospital following heart surgery and trying to fight off an MRSA type infection.
She will be sorely missed by the committee and those that knew her. Her enthusiasm for the club was boundless. Her love of music, along with her keyboard skills enabled her to raise thousands of pounds for charity from concert appearances.
Our thoughts are with her husband John and family.

Our readers in the north of England will be sad to learn of the passing of Leo Baarda. Leo single handedly created the wonderful organ concert venue at Baardas Glass Houses in Elloughton, near Hull back in the 1980's and the monthly concerts with the pipe organ, Allen theatre organ and Kurzweil piano were always well attended and appreciated by many.
Our sincerest condolences go out to his family and friends.
