It's with great sadness that we announce the death this week of former Entertainments manager Don Norris.
Don, along with his wife Joan were among the founder members of Clacton & District Organ Society back in 1974 and were actively involved on the committee until ill health recently forced them to retire. Before their health started to fail them they regularly attended festivals around the country looking for new talent with a view to Don booking them, and were familiar faces.

The Rye Wurlitzer Academy had to put up the House Full signs at their latest fund raising event held at the Milligan Theatre, Rye. The evening featured top tribute band The Fabulous Shadows, who recreate all of the Shadows’ big hits in their show, including Apache, Wonderful Land and the Guitar Tango.
