The first pictures have surfaced of a highly anticipated new organ - the TRX Mini. Based around the popular PSR-S950 from Yamaha, the launch of this exciting new instrument is expected to take place at the September Seacroft Festival in Hemsby.

Yamaha recently launched an updated version of their Expansion Manager software. This is used to not only manage Yamaha and third party content packs for Tyros, but also can now create brand new sounds.

Exactly 45 years to the night since the opening show with George Blackmore, the Guernsey Electronic Organ Society held its final ever concert on Wednesday 16th July with Chris Powell. Sadly, a combination of ever increasing air and ferry fares coupled with the island's relative isolation have meant that it has become increasingly difficult to keep things going.... Last weekend saw the re-launch of the ATOS UK Young Theatre Organist of the Year Competition, which was held on the magnificent COS Midlands District 3/11 Compton organ at the Fentham Hall, Hampton-In-Arden.
It was wonderful that nine young people entered, aged between 13 and 16, from all over the country, including Hull, Blackpool, The Lake District and East Sussex, as four players have learnt to play at the Rye Wurlitzer Academy.
