Andy Quin Classical Single - Two Toccatas for Piano

To celebrate fifty years of music making, film and TV composer Andy Quin is releasing his first ever classical piano single entitled Two Toccatas for Piano. These beautiful solo piano compositions will appeal to all fans of classical piano music and evoke influences from Bach and baroque through romantic Rachmaninov to delightful Debussy.

Today (10th June) sees the airing of a half hour documentary on BBC Radio 4 all about the electronic organ.  Entitled 'Wayne's World Of The Secret Organ', the programme (presented by fashion designer Wayne Hemmingway) charts the rise and fall of the electronic 'home organ'.  Personalities taking part include Nigel Ogden, James Taylor and Brett Wales.

Musicland (Bromley & Romford) were delighted when asked to supply a Yamaha Tyros for guest organist Jean Martyn who's celebrity fame shot into the limelight on Britain's Got Talent in 2011. Jean is currently providing live music for the very popular online Sun Bingo TV channel Having A Ball and is hosted by Big Brother star Brian Dowling and celebrity chef Rusty Lee. Yamaha to Release New Expansion SoftwareYamaha to Release New Expansion Software

In a recent press release, Yamaha explain how a piece of software called Yamaha Expansion Manager (YEM) was created to further enhance the hugely popular Tyros5 keyboard.

Further to it's initial release, they have several updates planned for the near future. They say that, despite being delayed a couple of months, the new software will bring many features requested by customers and third party software creators alike.
