Solent Club to Close

Thursday 18th June

It's happened again. Another long running club is closing its doors. We have talked to club organiser Barbara Baker this morning who said "Unfortunately we have been unable to find members to help run the club". We would like to put out a call to all those in the Solent area, if you are in a position and would like to help please give Barbara a call on 01425 471267 before it is too late.

Michael's Musical Milestone!

Sunday 7th June

Michael Wooldridge is just entering his 30th year of playing professional organ concerts, his very first whole solo concert having been on a Hammond Grandee loaned by The Sound Of Music for the June 1980 meeting of Maidenhead Electronic Organ Society!

Harworth Update...

Wednesday 13th May

Harworth Theatre Organ Enthusiasts have decided to cancel both the May and June concerts and dances due to ongoing problems with the hall. 

They very much hope that all will be back to normal for the new season in September. 

We will keep you up to date with developments as they happen.

Delays on CD's

Monday 11th May

Andrew Nix has asked us to publish the following statement

"Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond my control the manufacturing of two CD’s did not happen. The new albums, 'Crazy Rhythm' (Andrew Nix) and 'More…Happy Music' (Andrew Nix & Tony Stace) were due to be released at the end of April / beginning of May. The CD’s are now in manufacture. Carlisle and West Cumbria Organ and Keyboard Society celebrated its 40th Birthday with a special concert on Thursday 30th April featuring Andrew Nix and Tony Stace.

A near capacity audience including former Chairman Keith Harkness and former Secretary David Johnson were treated to over two hours of top class music and laughter.
