Following her accidental fall last week in which she broke her leg in three places, we can confirm that Chiho Sunamoto was let out of hospital last night. She now sports a lovely pink cast to protect her leg after the operation to fix it which entailed having a couple of metal plates and a number of surgical screws put in.
Recovery will take about six to eight weeks before she can walk again and hopefully it will not be long before she will be back at the organ. Don't think the pink cast will stop her though, She... Read more.
Jean Martyn is amongst the stars in the Sun Newspaper for the next 7 weeks. The paper is currently running a series of Sun Bingo called "Having a ball" and runs both in the paper and on their Internet show.
Jean composed the theme tune and jingles for the series as she is the Musical Director for the show. She even has her own bingo ball, No 23. She plays her Tyros keyboard during the live streaming and has told us "Its great to have organ music on such a show as it gets our style of music heard".

Penny Weedon has been in touch to let us know that her concert at The Isle Of Wight Club this Saturday (15th October) has been cancelled by the club. Consequently if any visitors were intending to visit this weekend unfortunately she will not be there. Our OrganFax events list has been updated appropriately.

John Ledwon recently visited the UK to play a series of concerts. John has what must be the very best theatre organist’s job in the world as he is resident organist at the Walt Disney Corporation’s El Capitan Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard. He plays on a huge Wurlitzer organ which they dress to tie in with the Disney Premieres.

Cirencester Parish Church is about to get a taste of the USA! With everyone talking about the American election on 8th November the theme for three free concerts (Mondays 14th, 21st and 28th) in November will be Americana - featuring organ music from and about the USA.
The recitals will be played by Anthony Hammond who will be back at the church following this summers successful series. The free Monday lunchtime concerts start at 13:10 and will finish at 13:50. There is no charge for entry but there will be a retiring collection and informative programme notes to purchase.
