Leslie-Roy aka "The Music Man" is the latest artiste to join our ranks. He has been a gigging musician for some years and has been featured several times on BBC Radio Sussex/Surrey.

His current instrument of choice is the amazing Böhm Overture Stage. Leslie-Roy does not use any multi-tracking, sequencing or backing tracks. All is played live with just drum rhythms to ensure an individual style.

Monday 20th October

Alan Atherton is the latest artiste to join our ranks. He studied both classical piano and classical organ and has obtained a diploma ALCM for each instrument. Teaching piano and organ pupils has been the major part of his career with several pupils having gone on to be music teachers in schools and performers.

People of the South West may be please to hear that Friday 24 October 2014 will see the 'Queen Of The Organ', Claudia Hirshfeld in a special one off Charity concert. 

Claudia Hirschfeld - born and living in Germany near Cologne - is a world renowned professional organist and keyboard player: a veritable Superstar on her instrument, who has not only performed successfully in Europe, but also in North and South America too.  Most recently she caused a sensation in the UAE (Dubai and Abu Dhabi) as well as China (Shanghai).

Silent Movie NightSilent Movie Night

Thursday 16th October

On Saturday November 1st at 7.30pm, Donald McKenzie will be playing the mighty Liverpool Cathedral Willis. This special event which will incorporate the silent movie 'Steamboat Bill Jnr' on a big screen, will give an opportunity to see a very different facet of this fabulous instrument.

Please note that tomorrows concert at Gainsborough Organ Society is with Peter Jebson and NOT Robert Wolfe.

Robert will indeed be returning to the society but not until next year on 18th October 2015.
