News is breaking today that James Last has died whilst in Florida, age 86.
Last was a huge inspiration to the music and arrangements of many of the leading organists and keybaord players and will be greatly missed.

Frank Aston has been in touch to let us know about a concert designed to raise money for the desperately needed replacement of the East Window of the St Mary’s Church, Albrighton which is in a sorry state at present.
Nigel Ogden will appear on 27th June 2015 at St Mary’s to support this worthy cause. Piano Magic features Michael playing some fabulous piano favourites on the Yamaha CVP-609 accompanied by the orchestra, provided by Michael playing the Yamaha EL-700 and Gareth Thompson on drums.
