Unfortunately, Paul Carman who was due to play for the York Electronic Organ & Keyboard Society on Thursday 13th October, is unable to fulfil the engagement owing to an unexpected change to his schedule.
The club is pleased to announce that Howard Beaumont has kindly agreed to step in at short notice to play Yamaha EL900 and Tyros 3, for what is now a rare Organ Society appearance for top Scarborough player Howard. They are hoping to re-book Paul for a concert date in 2012.

Visitors to The Pavilion Ballroom in Bournemouth should be aware that Tony Stace will now be there at 1pm this Tuesday, 4th October, and Michael Wooldridge will be appearing on what was Tony's date, Tuesday 15th November.
Unfortunately Pete Shaw broke his left ankle early last Monday morning. It happened just before he was due to leave for London for concerts at two organ societies Monday & Tuesday night. He slipped on a wooden board which had been left on the ground by workmen at his house and it looks like he will be out of action for at least 6 weeks, possibly longer.

We have just had news of a new album from Carol Williams. "Spreckels on the March" was recorded on the Spreckels Austin organ in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA.
There are 20 tracks of Marches ranging from the 16th century to modern times including Williams Byrd's "Irish March" to the "Dam Busters March" by Eric Coates. Firm favorites such as Mendelssohn's "Wedding March"; Gershwin's "Strike up the Band"; Walton's "Crown Imperial"; a collection of the great Sousa Marches are included as well as one of her own compositions, "Dark Friesian".
