Unfortunately Graham Blackledge was knocked out of the Britains Got Talent competition last night. It was a brave performance with Graham and the organ being flown in from high above the stage.
Whilst the panel of judges were not convinced he should make the final they seemed to think he would continue to sell many more organs and keyboards at the Rimmers store. Well done Graham and in case you missed it even Wayne Rooney tweeted last night "The guy on bgt playing the organ was hilarious."

Graham Blackledge, Manager one of the Rimmers Music shops has made it to the live semi finals of BGT. This is the second year running that an organist has made the live programmes. Following Jean Martyn's success last year could it be that the organ world will have a second success?

Fancy a night out at the silver screen? Well there will be just such a night at the Rye Wurlitzer on Saturday 12th May 2012. Buster Keaton, Harold Lloyd, Charlie Chaplin and others will be presented just the way they used to be and will be accompanied by the North East's master accompanist Carl Heslop (direct from his appearances at the Berwick Festival). This will be a treat as it ia the first time Carl has appeared at Rye.

Graham Blackledge (Manager at Rimmers Music shop) opened up Britains Got Talent last night and made a huge impression on the panel. Alesha and David loved him, Simon Cowell's comment was not quite so complimentary saying his performance was "like eating vanilla ice cream with a sausage" to which Graham asked him if he had ever done so!
