Award winning American theatre organist Jelani Eddington, will be appearing Thursday 14th June 2012, in concert at Keyberry Park Methodist Church, Newton Abbot, Devon TQ12 1BX. Mark Ireland is hosting what promises to be a very special evening of first class music played on his fabulous four manual Allen Digital Wurlitzer Theatre Organ (the George Wright Series GW4).

We are pleased to pass on the news that Tony Whittaker has recently been made the new honorary president for Leamington & District Organ Society

In further news the club has also recently moved to a new venue, the Sydenham Community Centre, Chesterton Drive, Leamington Spa and visitors are invited to their next meeting on Wedneday 11th July when the popular Nicholas Martin will be performing. Admission is just £7.00 per person and doors open at 7.00pm

Since the end of last May 2011 (when Jean Martyn went on the Britains Got Talent tour) she has had a whirlwind of a year. Two palace visits, numerous concerts, celebrity appearances opening stores and playing for various charitable organisations have all kept her very busy.

Yesterday she was back at Buckingham Palace mingling with the Chelsea pensioners, Dame Vera Lynn, and veterans and young soldiers from all the wars.

Unfortunately Graham Blackledge was knocked out of the Britains Got Talent competition last night. It was a brave performance with Graham and the organ being flown in from high above the stage.

Whilst the panel of judges were not convinced he should make the final they seemed to think he would continue to sell many more organs and keyboards at the Rimmers store. Well done Graham and in case you missed it even Wayne Rooney tweeted last night "The guy on bgt playing the organ was hilarious."
