Janet Dowsett took time out from her musical activities over the weekend to run in the Reading Half Marathon. This was her first major running event, and she was delighted to run a time of 2 hours and 38 minutes. Janet has told us that the crowds on the streets of Reading really helped to get her round the 13.1 miles - including lots of great bands placed at strategic points along the route. For those that are interested in all things Hammond, there is a new official website in development. The site is still in its beta test state however it has some interesting new features. The one that caught our eye was the blog which at the time of writing this item tells us that Malc and Barrie are currently at the airport having a beer whilst waiting for a plane to Frankfurt!
