A Battenberg cake, a blue cockerel and an organ-shaped cashpoint are among the six works in the running for a place on the fourth plinth of Nelson's Column at Trafalgar Square. The winning artork will replace Nelson's Ship in a Bottle in 2012.
The idea of American artist Jennifer Allora and Guillermo Calzadilla from Cuba is a pipe organ which will play when people use a cashpoint installed in the plinth. The pipes will play as people tap their cards pin number into the keyboard!
The models are on display in St Martin in the Fields church near the square and will be on display to the public until 31 October.
OrganFax would like to congratulate Brett & Katrina Wales on the birth of their beautiful daughter Isabella Rose, born on Wednesday 11th August at 9.29am and weighing 9 lbs and half an ounce.
Mother and baby are doing well and together with their daughters, Bethany and Sophie, the Wales family are absolutely over the moon.

On October 1st, Tim Walter - managing director of Roland UK - will set out with fellow R-UK directors Peter Heath and Simon Griffiths on a (over) 450 mile bike ride from Lands End to London, arriving at the London Music Show on the 8th October!
Tim reckons cycling well over 450 miles seems like a slightly mad undertaking considering the sum of his previous cycling experience is pootling to the local sweet shop and back as a child!
"It is a challenge, but it's a chance to raise money for the British Heart Foun... Read more.
