Tony Reed sadly passed away after a short illness on 1st March. He had been the Chairman of Ascot Organ & Keyboard club for nearly 14 years as well as being a committee member for several years beforehand. Tony was well respected throughout the Organ world as well as at Ascot and will be remembered for his enthusiasm, hard work, dedication, but especially his keen sense of humour. During his time as Chairman he helped build up the club's membership from 40 to over 100 members as well as building up the club's fine reputation as a warm, friendly and welcoming club. He will be greatly mis... Read more.

OrganFax's own John Romero has just announced that he and his wife Jackie have decided to leave Eastbourne. Having been associated with the town for almost fifteen years they have decided to sell up, reunite with family and move to Shropshire.
John laughingly said "Perhaps we are having a mid life crisis..... no not really! We have seen a super little house we want to buy just down the road from my sister and this is the perfect time to move before Alex goes up to senior school. It will involve a major change... Read more.
We have had the following message come in from Rod Pooley...
'It has finally come to that time in my career to say farewell to the organ club/ festival circuit.
I still have a TRX organ system which I will be using for all of the concerts I do have already booked in the diary. So don't worry if you have me booked your date will be honoured.
Why you may ask am I doing this? Many reasons. I have a very successful function band now which takes most of my time and is really enjoyable. Also playing to ever decreasing numbers at many organ clubs is soul destroying an... Read more.
