We are pleased to announce that the David Windle will be back at the organ on the North Pier, Blackpool on Wednesday and Thursday mornings,11.30 till 1.00 pm commencing the 20th of July 2011.
The season proved to be very popular with the visitors in 2009 but the pier management decided on a different policy for the 2010 season deciding to replace the organ with a musical duo. Therefore, we are pleased to see it back this year.
As usual the shows will be featuring David at his Yamaha FX20 with amplification playing a varied programme to suit all tastes.
The largest Wurlitzer pipe organ ever installed in a European cinema has found a new home at the Troxy, Stepney, where it will become the first cinema organ to be installed in a major UK cinema building since the 1930s.

Recently Tony and Andrew visited the holiday park and both were genuinely astonished by the massiv... Read more.
It is with great sadness that we announce the sad loss of Kay Gibbs who passed away last Friday after a short illness. Many will have known Kay from her involvement with the Pincents Organ Club where she was the leading light for so many years. The Club would not have survived without her and Alan and sadly, due to their declining health they finally closed its doors last December.
Kay's dedication, together with Alan for so many years made a great contribution to the Organ World and we are sure many artistes and friends she made would want to know of her passing.
