May we advise you that all World of Music (formerly North East Derbyshire Organ Society) concerts will now be presented at Staveley Methodist Church Hall, Chesterfield Road, Staveley, Chesterfield S43 3XD.

An Organ Society which has played host to some of the biggest names of the Organ and keyboard world is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its formation by staging a spectacular gala concert.
 
Llay Organ Society based in the village of Llay near Wrexham, North Wales which became one of the largest Organ Societies in the UK, was founded by a group of electronic Organ enthusiasts who started meeting informally in 1983. 2013 found her with a full list of engagements with concerts, television appearances and public speaking. Her involvement as a Rotarian saw her performing at the Rotary Conference in Harrogate as well as adjudicating at the Rotary Young Musician Competition in March hosted by the Rotary Club of Wolverhampton, and again this year in 2014.

Loss At Ascot

Saturday 8th March

Tony Reed sadly passed away after a short illness on 1st March. He had been the Chairman of Ascot Organ & Keyboard club for nearly 14 years as well as being a committee member for several years beforehand. Tony was well respected throughout the Organ world as well as at Ascot and will be remembered for his enthusiasm, hard work, dedication, but especially his keen sense of humour. During his time as Chairman he helped build up the club's membership from 40 to over 100 members as well as building up the club's fine reputation as a warm, friendly and welcoming club. Some considerable time has elapsed since Andrew released a solo recording. Well, he has just
informed us that he will release a brand new CD on FEBRUARY 21st Atelier AT900c.

Working closely with one of the country's finest recording technicians, they have captured the moods and many different styles that make Andrews concerts so interesting.
