Southport Organ and Keyboard Society will have been in existance for 37 years this year. Unfortunately, Wednesday 14th September 2016 will see the club close its doors for the last time.

The Family Fun Day at which they were scalped for charity took place last Sunday at the Red Lion Public House, Hambleton, near Selby with the ceremonial hair cut taking place in the evening. The Walmington on Sea Town Crier, opened the event in style and there was a full pub from start to finish which created a fantastic atmosphere. Brian Sharp’s passing was met with much sadness by his devotees, fellow musicians, and friends but none more so than his family.
Many readers may not be aware that a DVD was made at The Meeting House, Ringwood. It was here that Brian played concerts regularly from 1986. He supported the unique historical building over many years, playing to capacity audiences with his appreciation of fine acoustics.
