Phil's Paramount Success!

HURRY, HURRY, HURRY !!
 
Demand for tickets for Phil Kelsall's 2009 visit to The Penistone Paramount have been superb. There are less than 60 tickets remaining for the concert this coming Saturday at 2.30pm, when Phil will once again be bringing that "Blackpool Magic" to the 4/20 Compton Cinema Organ.

Seats can be booked by telephoning 07944 566972 and are priced at £7.50. Although there may be some tickets available on the day, we advise anyone travelling considerable distances to see Phil at the console of the Penistone Compton to book in advance.

After a six-year absence from the organ world, Robert New proudly returns with his first studio record and website.

Ultra Sonic Future Reality is a seventeen track CD of Robert’s favourite pieces. An organist / keyboard player has never recorded many of the songs on this record before, making this a first for many of the titles.

The New Forest Organ Society are to host a special charity concert on March 15th 2009 with the talented young player, Ian House. 

The concert, which is supported by Roland UK and held in aid of the Help For Heros Fund (badly injured servicemen returning from Iraq and Afghanistan) will take place at Hoburne Bashley, New Milton, Hampshire @ 12.30pm.

In Memory Of...In Memory Of...

Monday 9th February

It is was great regret that we hear of the very sad passing of one of the organ world's leading lights, Bim Livesey. 

Bim was well know to many as the effervescent host of countless organ and keyboard festivals over the years as well as running a number of tremendous big band events. 

He sadly lost his battle with cancer last Friday 6th February and all our thoughts go out to his friends and family at this sad time.
