Since the inclusion of our letter from The New Foresat Organ Society a few days ago and the opening of our topic for debate in the forum referring to 'Are Organ Societies Doomed?' we have had already had 2 very interesting replies from artistes offering their thoughts... The season proved to be very popular with the visitors in 2009 but the pier management decided on a different policy for the 2010 season deciding to replace the organ with a musical duo. Therefore, we are pleased to see it back this year.
As usual the shows will be featuring David at his Yamaha FX20 with amplification playing a varied programme to suit all tastes.

It is with great sadness that we announce the sad loss of Kay Gibbs who passed away last Friday after a short illness. Many will have known Kay from her involvement with the Pincents Organ Club where she was the leading light for so many years. The Club would not have survived without her and Alan and sadly, due to their declining health they finally closed its doors last December.
Kay's dedication, together with Alan for so many years made a great contribution to the Organ World and we are sure many artistes and friends she made would want to know of her passing.
