The Lancastrian Theatre Organ Trust's lunchtime Wurlitzer concert at Stocport Town Hall tomorrow (Monday 27th) will now feature Michael Wooldridge and not Donald MacKenzie as previously advertised.
Concert starts at 12 noon and fetaures the superb 4 manual 20 rank Wurlitzer organ in the capable hands of Michael.
In aid of the Royal British Legion, John Mann will be performing on Sunday 26th June at the Kings Hall, Herne Bay .
Kings Hall have a wonderful concert grand piano and John will perform a special concert on this including a special tribute to Russ Conway.

Compton Lodge, Sapcote in Leicestershire is selling a wealth of theatre (and straight) organ parts.
They have a wealth of Wurlitzer and Compton pipework (including some very desirable ranks), traps, percussions, chests, regulators and trems. Also they have large and small blowers, 2 Wurlitzer consoles and plenty of spare parts (chest magnets and stop key units to name 2).

After having informed everyone that the organ was to be playing again on the North Pier in Blackpool once more for the 2011 Summer Season we have now been informed by the management of the Pier that the organ will not be required for the season.
Pier organist, David Windle although obviously disappointed will still be the Musical Director for the Michael Barrymore show as previously mentioned but sadly not as an organist.
Many of you will have seen Jean Martyn bring the house down with a standing ovation on her Britains Got Talent audition this evening. In a performance that showed both her talent and personality, she got all three judges to say Yes!
Producers of the show saved her audition to the very last to be shown and her boogie paino performance had the audience clapping along with a great deal of enthusiasm, although it should be said not all were in time with the music.
