North East Derbyshire Organ Society proudly celebrates its 25th Anniversary this year. The occasion was marked on Wednesday 15th April when the society’s President, Andrew Nix, performed a special Anniversary concert which attracted a large audience and was attended by several of the original founder members.

Due to business commitments overseas, Alastair Kiernan has had to cancel his May concert for the Basildon Keyboard Club.

They are delighted that Brian Hazelby has stepped in to fill the vacancy on May 2nd.  Brian will be playing his Tyros 2 and pedals.

We are sorry to report that Penny Weedon's mum sadly passed away last week.  She died peacefully following a long illness. 

Known to many in the organ and keyboard world, she'd accompanied Penny for many years and was often seen at the Keyboard Cavalcade events where she made many friends.

On behalf of all at OrganFax, we send Penny and Tony our deepest sympathy and our thoughts are with them and their family at this sad time.

As a result of her bereavement, Penny is no longer able to appear at St Mary's Church, Tittleshall, Norfolk on the 22nd April 2009. ... Read more.
