On Sunday 15th March, the New Forest Organ Society held a lunch with an organ concert at Hoburne Bashley, New Milton in support of the Help for Heroes campaign. Help for Heroes is the charity that is raising money in support of our badly injured men and women returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, to help provide them with special facilities etc.

2009 will see a new addition to the Folly Farm funfair (Pembrokeshire) with the arrival of their Mighty Wurlitzer.
Paul Kirner, of Compton Lodge, Sapcote, Leicestershire, who purchased the Wurlitzer from the Lancastrian Theatre Organ Trust, has provided the organ to Folly Farm on long term loan. It is being installed and will be maintained by Ben Snowdon.
To celebrate the new arrival, Saturday 2nd May at 7pm will see John Mann take his seat at the 4/14 Wurlitzer previously installed at the Gaumont Cinema and Granada Studios, Manchester.
