Dinnington’s Other Best Kept Musical SecretDinnington’s Other Best Kept Musical Secret

Wednesday 29th August

When Sue Perkins introduced the world to the Dinnington Colliery Band on the BBC, she never thought to look across the road for further local musical treats.  Had she done so, she would have discovered the South Yorkshire Keyboard and Organ Club (SYKOC).  The society stages concerts by world-renowned keyboard players every fortnight in the Dinnington Resources Centre.
This year sees the 25th anniversary of the club.  It is marking such a special occasion with a celebratory concert on Tuesday 4th September featuring Chiho Sunamoto, one of Japan’s most re... Read more.

Tuesday 8th May

Apparently, some advertising media for the venue states that the museum is closed on this date. We understand that this is to establish there will not be their usual "open day" on this date. We can clarify that the show is most definitely going ahead with the doors opening at 1pm and the concert on both Wurlys and electronics will start at 2.30pm. Tickets are ONLY available from Tony 01609 748295 or Andrew 01757 708509

In their series of "Duet Shows", Tony ... Read more.
