The aisles of Hereford Cathedral will be ringing to music of a different kind tonight, Tuesday 11 September. Nigel Ogden, presenter of Radio 2’s ‘the Organist Entertains’, will be playing a specially prepared selection of popular and light classics at the cathedral at 7.30 pm.
Nigel’s favourite styles of music and personable manner will be well-known to the thousands of listeners to his regular radio programmes, and he is looking forward to making a return visit to Hereford, where he has enjoyed playing in the past.

When Sue Perkins introduced the world to the Dinnington Colliery Band on the BBC, she never thought to look across the road for further local musical treats.
