Nicholas Martin helped the Weyhill Electronic Organ Society to celebrate its 100th concert on 19th August in front of a capacity attendance. It was appropriate that Nick was the guest artiste as he had played for the Society’s inaugural concert in July 2002. The event was attended by the Mayor and Mayoress of Test Valley, Cllr. Chris Lynn and his wife Frances, who were able to experience at first hand the great entertainment on offer and the splendid atmosphere within the Club.

Following a long tradition from the days of Pontin's Barton Hall, Torquay, to the events at Lyme Bay, Seaton, the Organfax team has been invited to the October Keyboard Experience at Sand Bay, produced by Cled and Ian Griffin.
Apart from making contact with organ club officials attending the event, two of the Organfax team, namely Ian House and John Romero, will join a host of star players in entertaining guests over the weekend - 15th to 18th October. Unfortunately, Chris Powell is unable to attend due to other work commitments.
It is not only the 30th anniversa... Read more.

A Battenberg cake, a blue cockerel and an organ-shaped cashpoint are among the six works in the running for a place on the fourth plinth of Nelson's Column at Trafalgar Square. The winning artork will replace Nelson's Ship in a Bottle in 2012.
The idea of American artist Jennifer Allora and Guillermo Calzadilla from Cuba is a pipe organ which will play when people use a cashpoint installed in the plinth. The pipes will play as people tap their cards pin number into the keyboard!
The models are on display in St Martin in the Fields church near the square and will be on display to the public until 31 October.

Born in Luton, Bedfordshire, Robert fell in love with popular organ music on a family holiday to Blackpool when he was in his teens. Having fallen in love with the sound of the Wurlitzer in the Tower, it is fair to say that any ambitions he had of playing that particular organ on a regular basis were quickly realised when as a mere 16 year old, Robert became the youngest ever player to join the team of Resident Organists in the Tower Ballroom.
