Christmas Fayre At Sherbourne...

Friday 12th November

The great Christmas warmer Turkey and Tinsel weekend at Sherborne will include a Christmas Fayre on the Sunday 5th December 2010.  The organisers, Cled and Ian Griffin are planning to make it a very special open afternoon event where everyone is welcome to call in and see what is on offer.

Each stand holder will be making a donation to the charity of their choice in the season of goodwill. 

A variety of Christmas gifts will be available plus many unexpected items from the music and show scene.

Free ConcertFree Concert

Wednesday 3rd November

Bournemouth Electronic Organ Society's concert on the 16th November 2010, to be performed by the talented (and member of the OrganFax team) organist, Ian House, will be made `free of charge` for visitors. Club members are encouraged to "bring a friend" for what will be a most enjoyable evening of musical entertainment.

We would just like to add that it is nice to see a club being very pro-active in looking for new members, long may it last!

Sand Bay Message From Byron Jones...

It has come to our attention that a rumour is circulating that our "Music for All" Organ Festival at Sand Bay Holiday Centre is coming to an end after the April 2011 Festival.

I would like to assure all our patrons that this is NOT so.  We have had a successful relationship with Pontins and latterly Martyn Leisure for the last 28 years, and this will continue for as long as we intend to hold festivals.  So, have no fear regarding booking for Sand Bay for 2011 and the future years. Abergele and District Electronic Organ Society Celebrate 25 Years!

Monday 1st November

Abergele and District Electronic Organ Society are celebrating 25 years as an active Organ Society on 1st December at the Kinmel Manor Hotel, Abergele and will be featuring Claire Greig.

Why not go along. Easy drive, no stops or roundabouts  from the M56 to A55 Expressway and leave at Jn 24 roundabout to private road "Kinmel Manor Hotel". There's ample parking and superb facilities and a warm welcome awaits.

St Andrews Church, Owslebury, nr. Winchester is urgently seeking competent keyboard players to help us in their worship. Regular service every week at 11am. No choir to contend with just a grateful congregation.

It would not have be a regular commitment, ideally they would like a group of people and are quite happy to have beginners. Advice from their retiring organist can be given or they can supply an electronic keyboard. There is remuneration and you would also receive the gratitude of a caring community.
