We have been advised by the Shirley Organ & Keyboard Society that their planned concert this evening with Chris Powell has been cancelled owing to the ice and freezing fog in the London area. The show has now been rescheduled for January 10th 2011.

Also, a plea to all organ club secretaries to kindly keep us up to date with their programme status ASAP, so that we can advise our readers.
Matthew Bason was due to appear for the Springfield Organ Society in Hull tomorrow night (Monday 6th) but due to the weather this show has been cancelled.
Also, York Electronic Organ & Keyboard Society have rescheduled their show with Nick Martin from the 9th to the 16th of December.

Due to the adverse weather conditions and circumstances beyond our control at the concert venue, the Basildon Keyboard have no option but to cancel the Christmas concert with Tony Stace and Andrew Nix tomorrow evening, Saturday December 4th 2010.
Weyhill Electronic Organ Society sells tickets in advance for all of its concerts and on the reverse side of the tickets for concerts staged during the winter months they have a printed message which reads as follows:
In the event of inclement weather during the winter months (e.g. snow and ice) you may wish to seek confirmation that a particular concert has not been cancelled before you travel.
If so, please contact xxxxx xxxxxx or xxxxx xxxxxx
Should cancellation be necessary, a refund will be made on production of the relevant concert ticket.
