Many of you will have heard that the Reading Society based at Tidmarsh ceased in September 2010 and also that Pincents will be ceasing after their December 2010 concert with Keyclix.
Kay and Alan, who own and run Pincents are retiring due to their ill health but .... because there is still a willing audience and willing owners of the William Penney Theatre (RG7 4PR); a group of three from the Tidmarsh club have decided to try and start a completely new venture at the above theatre. Michael Wooldridge is bringing some of the magic of Christmas to Folkestone and Brighton in two special concerts this December, both being held in lovely cosy churches and featuring him playing his touring Roland Atelier with special guests, and including small features on the resident pipe organs.

Penny Weedon is pleased to announce the formation of SOCKET: The Society of Organ Clubs, Keyboard Entertainers and Teachers. At the moment, it exists as a website, but Penny hopes it will establish a presence at keyboard events as time goes by.
