There will be an important EGM of the COS on Saturday 20th June, the main item of business being to discuss and vote on the adoption of a proposed new constitution to enable the organisation to register as a charity.

On Sunday 26th April, the New Forest Organ Society hosted a lunch and concert for 200 people in support of Hounds for Heroes. The founder of the charity, Allen Parten, attended the event accompanied by his two dogs, EJ and Rookie. Allen gave a talk about the charity and what it means to thousands of severely disabled service men and women who get friendship and help from the highly trained dogs.

International Organist Tony Wilson is making a whistle stop tour of the UK this week, flying in from his Los Angeles home to play just two concerts (6th & 8th May), both as fund raising events for the Rye Wurlitzer Academy, which Tony believes is the most wonderful organ tuition project in the world.
